That may be the first and last time I ever prove you wrong about anything, so I am savoring the moment. And it is delicious.

Mad: lol. It's probably best that we don't discuss the recent Guantanamo decision by the Supreme Court. :-X

Holly: You are correct, according to Wikipedia. Which means that I am wrong, according to Wikipedia! :-P

I actually even liked McCain. I resent that he's been being called "a second Bush" because he is in fact very different and much more intelligent than Bush. But then this news came out today. I'm sure you know how I feel about Guantanamo Bay, and McCain's opinion on yesterday's decision frankly terrifies me. No use having a smarter president, if all it means is they'll create bad policy more effectively. Look at this.

I just... aaaaaggh. I don't understand at all :/

lol. All right, I'm done thinking about post-grad plans for the moment. :-P

And as I said, after McCain came out with his economic plan, it kinda hit me how much like Bush he'll be. I think he'd be a good president if he weren't running on the Republican ticket (and thus, forced to take a rightward tack), but he won't be getting my vote in November. :-)

New York City post-grad will be great :D Don't worry, individual neighbourhoods within NYC feel much smaller and more community like :o) It's really like ten different cities that are close to each other and called one big city. :D

Woo donating to Obama! This is the first campaign I've ever donated to; it's pretty exciting :D Also I'm glad you've gone the democrat route this election cycle, :o)

lol. 20+ million people is not tiny. By too big, I don't mean only physical size, but rather the concentration of people. I like humanity plenty, but there comes a point where I just need some space (and trees, and forests, and ponds) to myself. :-P

Don't knock it till you've tried it. When I moved here, I'd never even had a job before, and I didn't know a single person. Well, I knew one person, but I hadn't seen her in two years. Anyway, the point is, when I moved here, I was kind of fucked up the ass, but I more or less made it, and I think you could more than make it here. I believe in you! Also, New York is physically quite tiny. The size is all in your head.

Holly: New York, eh? I dunno. City life definitely seems to have its advantages at our age, but New York has always seemed a little too... big... for me. I prefer Boston. :-)

But, you and Dara and I can meet on random weekends in the middle someplace. :-P

Yelena: Now all you have to do is convince her to make the right choice in November!

When I found out my cousin was seriously considering voting for McCain, I was in such a state of shock that I also donated $25 to Obama.
