I received my very first traffic ticket on Saturday morning, at Independence Square in Weymouth, which is the intersection of Route 18 with Pond and Pleasant Streets.
I was on the way to work, running rather late, and getting pulled over did not make me any earlier. But, I was very calm and even traded some conversation with the officer, which was an improvement over the only other time I’ve been pulled over—in Templeton, maybe five years ago. I remember being very nervous that night, for a variety of reasons.
This stop went well, but unfortunately, my affability did not lead only to a warning, as it had in Templeton. The officer wrote me a citation for allegedly violating Chapter 90, Section 14 of the General Laws of Massachusetts; specifically, for failure to slow at an intersection.
I am reluctant to discuss the intricacies of the situation, because I will be contesting the alleged violation instead of paying the $35 and assuming responsibility for the alleged infraction.
This means I’ll get to argue my case in front of a judge, which sounds like a more helpful test of my interest in the practice of law than does my as-yet-to-begin studying for the LSAT. Heh.

If you come into Victoria’s Secret, I will help you pick out a bra that will maximize your cleavage potential and thus enable you to avoid any future traffic tickets ^_^
Um, my sub-A cups need no assistance in getting me out of traffic tickets, thankyouverymuch. The problem is that I never remember to squeeze ‘em together to flaunt the cleavage. It’s always been a problem I’ve needed to work on, really.
