I am in New Orleans until July 30

As mentioned earlier, I am in New Orleans, and will be without my phone or an Internet connection until July 30.
This means that there will be no updates to this blog until that time. Similarly, you will receive an automated reply to any emails you send me, and will receive no response to any Facebook [...]

The email that started it all

Back at the end of May, this was the email that started all this New Orleans business. Wholesale organization began just eight days ago… not bad, procrastination. Not bad at all.

What they didn’t teach you in elementary school

Adventures on the North River

Wendy and I went out on the North River today, a neat and beautiful 6-mile trip that included paddling up, then down, the river in a canoe (my first canoe trip), and jumping off the Union Street bridge in Scituate (my first bridge jump).
I could go into details about how fun it was, how beautiful [...]

Whoa, it’s really happening: tickets purchased

I just bought the tickets for my trip to New Orleans.
I’ll be leaving early in the morning on Monday, June 30, and will be returning late at night on Tuesday, July 29.
The tickets were $306, so I will have just about $100 to make ends meet for a month in New Orleans, including food, shelter, [...]

Reservations about selling my iPhone

Here’s where I let out a big sigh. ::Sigh::
I was planning on selling my iPhone this week (and have already received a bunch of enticing offers on Craigslist), but the more I look into upgrading to the iPhone 3G when I get back at the end of July (it launches on July 11), the less [...]

Contacting me through the end of July

The time is nearing… my month in New Orleans! This drastic change in circumstances necessitates an equally drastic change in getting in touch with me.
I don’t plan on using a computer throughout my time in New Orleans, so you should expect no updates to this blog. Similarly, you’ll receive no replies to things you write [...]
