April 11 began my Six Days of Hell: that period, earlier in the semester, when I had three huge papers due in six days. It was, up to that time, the densest period of academic work I had had to complete, in the shortest possible timeframe, ever. Yet, those six days are now looking like the Golden Age of Academics, because I now have upwards of 25 pages to write in the next three days.
Right now, I am remarkably composed, considering the predicament I am in. Yet, I predict that there is a 40% chance that I will break down by Wednesday at noon. If I survive, I will be on top of the world—even if my GPA suffers, which I hope it doesn’t. If I don’t make it… well, I’m not going to legitimate that possibility by considering its consequences.
