Everywhere I go, the trees are bursting with color. I can look outside my window at the trees across the street on the big lawn and see their little green leaves poking out. All down Washington Street, there are magnolias with huge white flowers popping out, and there are lots of big, full trees all around campus that have donned bunches and bunches of pretty pink flowers. Down Main Street, down High Street, on Foss Hill, just everywhere… there’s so much color, and it’s so beautiful.
I’ve bought a crapload of clothes over the past two days—around $540 worth—and these should last me forever. I finally have some pairs of shorts, despite the difficulty it took to find ones in my size… even the 29Ws in shorts are usually too big. It’s a tough life, especially when I refuse to shop in the kid’s section (Jeffrey says I’m too proud).
I haven’t blogged about anything lately, but life has generally been great. The weather has been beautiful, and I’m outside in the mornings without a coat or jacket. I got a pretty sweet score on the practice LSAT I took Saturday, though the logical reasoning part was terrible (like, really terrible). Maybe it will be law school for me, after all. Being a prosecutor or defense attorney would be cool; I hope I don’t sell out and work for Giant Faceless Corporation® to make lots of money doing litigation and all that crap.
And on the girls front, things are looking up. I’m trying really hard to make something happen, and I hope it does. I came back from our movie the other night thinking that, for the first time at Wes, I actually like a girl. That’s a wonderful feeling to have again.
Summer plans are still up in the air; I’ll probably be back at the hotel. I didn’t really want to go back, but since I’m a lazy bum and didn’t seek out other opportunities, this is a good fallback. It’ll be a good source of cash, too, as long as I can line up at least 40 hours a week. But it’s not an internship, or anything that will be useful for the future. I’ll be back in Massachusetts, though, and I plan on making the most of it. Plus, the Argus will be paying me to learn PHP! Finally, I’ll be able to break the barrier that’s kept me from actual web development since, oh, eighth grade. A marketable skill to fall back on—woo!
OK, time to write an Argus article. Then nap. Then do work. G’night!

hey, thanks a lot.
Hmm. I was under the assumption that we were more physical than, uh, otherwise. We just had a different kind of attraction. Right?
:/
that hurts.
