It’s 2:15 AM and I’m in my room, making my bed, and listening to one of the best instrumental songs I’ve ever heard: “Lovely Allen” by Holy Fuck, off their album Holy Fuck. I don’t usually go for purely instrumental songs, because I’ve always found a good song to be a blend of excellent writing and excellent musical performance, but this song is just a juicy blend of bright, gently driving—and yet occasionally eruptive—electronic goodness.
I highly recommend you fork over the 99¢ on iTunes and add this beauty to your Library. This is totes crack-a-smile–and-enjoy-your-day music.
