The Weakerthans! The Weakerthans!

The Weakerthans are playing on Saturday, April 12 in Northampton, MA! I must go to see them! But I don’t want to go alone! So if you’re interested, let me know as soon as possible!

I’ve already purchased my ticket, since it’s General Admission. I wouldn’t mind going alone if I have to, but it’d be cool if people wanted to tag along and make it into a night!

That’s only a month away! I’ve finally given them a listen. Some of their stuff is desirable. Though they remind me of my Bowling for Soup phase when I was 11, before they came out with that mainstream pop punk “1985″ and proceeded to suck tremendously. I personally enjoy “The Last Last One.” But I know we have terribly different taste in music.

I love how I always forget about this ole’ thing, then I try to play catch-up. It’s hard that way. We need another afternoon out soon. Lunch or some such thing. A pointless drive even. I miss those.

Hope your break is going rather well. And I hope you got enough sleep last night, Mr. 6 o’clock bedtime! :] Be safe, stay in touch, enjoy yourself.

lol. I’ve been listening to all their albums nonstop for the past few hours. I’m in love. You should listen to Civil Twilight: from the second I heard it, I knew I would never grow tired of it. And then, well… I just bought every Weakerthans album in existence!

As for afternoons out, indeed! The good thing about post-Spring Break is that the weather will be warm and beautiful. And there’ll be hours more sunlight in the evening! So there’s the possibility of beach excursions, walks along the river, chillin’ on Foss Hill, and so many other activities. Yay! Spring! I’m so happy!

Hehe. I’m going to retry that going-to-bed-early thing tonight. I hope it works this time. :-P
