My mind went off on a weird tangent today in AMST201, Culture and Politics of the 1850s. One of the characters in the book we were discussing is named Ravoni, and that reminded me of ravioli (and The Game). So, for the rest of class, I listed various kinds of pasta in the margin of my notebook. I came up with a bunch, but I’m looking for more.
If you know of any more types of pasta, please leave them in the comments! And thanks go to Dara for the cappelletti! Oh, and: don’t cheat.

Wagon wheels are called ruotine.
Here’s one I recently discovered: Trenne
Do perogies count as pasta? Cause if so, then yea, that.
w00t. I also just thought of rigatoni.
Tortellini, tortelloni, canelloni, fusilli (I think that’s what corkscrews are called), gnocchi, capellini.
All those l’s and i’s start looking really weird after a while.
Oh, does couscous count?
Friends,
Waking this morning, I smiled knowing that I spent the weekend with a great group of people. Whether it was walking on top of the bar raising our glasses, or if it was enjoying the Italian, or the music, or the company (all of these probably) it was a really great time. It won’t be the last one. I promise you that.
Thank you for being perfect guests,
Chris
P.S.: Has anyone seen my shirt?
So many types of pasta! The list grows!
Chris, have you *not* seen your shirt?
You were a perfect host! Yay, great party!
Ditallini… game.
What the hell is ditallini?
Thanks for being a totally wondrous guest, Mad!
A ditallini is a very small type of pasta. It’s my personal favorite.
