Every once in a while I’ll take a look at the server logs for my sites, and see how many people are visiting, what they’re looking at, and how they’re getting here. I always find some interesting things. Here are some facts about The Justin Network:
- In the eleven months that justinlaselva.com was operational in 2007, I served up thousands of pages. May was the busiest month, with 1,507 page views. Between 11:00 PM and midnight was the busiest time for people to be browsing the site.
- My photoblog had a whopping 125,040 page views in 2007. 20,757 of those were in the week of March 25, which must’ve been around the time I uploaded the majority of the Spring Break photos. Between 7:00 and 8:00 PM was the busiest time for people to be browsing the site.
- Another Sunny Day had over 60,000 page views in 2007—and that’s starting in July. Again, between 11:00 PM and midnight was the busiest time for people to be browsing the site, although the 10:00 to 11:00 PM hour had nearly equivalent views.
- Who visits ASD? In the last month the most frequent visitors (in no particular order) have been from Boston, New Jersey, New York City, Boston University, Rhode Island, Baltimore, Rochester, Philly, Irvine, Austin, Russia, Wisconsin, the United Kingdom, France, Newark, and Harvard University.
- The leading referrer to Another Sunny Day is Google, followed by Facebook, then Yahoo.
- Someone from Oberlin made 44 requests this month to justinlaselva.com. I don’t think I know anyone at Oberlin.
