Merry Christmas!

All I want for Christmas is straight hair. Looking through all these pictures only made me realize how much I’ve always wanted my hair to be straight. So I could do fun things with it. And make it look nice. Aww, straight hair. Come here. Please. Share this entry:

The Onion never disappoints

It’s almost as addictive as Wikipedia. One particularly funny article: “I put my finger up your—” said Kendler, choking back the word “ass.” “Lips. Up to your lips. Like, to hush you, because the moment is so awe-inspiring. Then I move my hand to the back of your head and, um, stroke your hair. And [...]

Christmas party: success!

It is an indisputable fact, that any party that ends with me getting home at 5:30 in the morning, is a success. Tonight, I saw Chris, Josh, Matt, Eve, Wendy (without her boyfriend), Tina and Dave, Corinne (without Jason), Daly, Pat (without Lauren—I think they broke up), Paul, Andrew McCarthy and Nicole, Monique and Kris, [...]

It’s good to be back; Christmas; more…

I was in Marshfield earlier tonight, hanging around with Chris, Josh, and Matt. It was fun; we shaved Matt’s head and watched some of Full Metal Jacket. I heard some interesting stories about altercations with blunt metal objects, and breakups. We stocked up for tomorrow night’s party (grand total: around $93). I learned that Matt [...]

Back in the Bay State (again)

Winter Break has begun. After a few days of sitting around in Connecticut doing nothing terribly exciting, I’m now in my room back in good ol’ Abington. The ride up was a mess, what with snow and rain and general nastiness, but everything up here is so pretty. There’s something to be said about living [...]

Final exams are now 66.66666667% done

HIST291: paper completed last night. Overall, I think, pretty well done. AMST230: in-class portion completed in half an hour; take-home essay completed in an hour. Overall, I think, very well done. LAT101: exam at 7 o’clock. This will be the toughest of all. Share this entry:

It had to happen eventually

I have officially entered that pre-final exam state in which I don’t even care anymore how they turn out, I just want them to be over. It is not conducive to studying. Share this entry:

Quick updates before I eat and study

I finished my HIST291 paper 12 minutes before midnight—over 12 hours before it was due! This is a significant accomplishment for me. I think it’s evident that I put more effort into the second essay rather than the first, but I think both ended up being pretty well done. The second essay, especially, was widely [...]

Petula Clark’s “Downtown”

When you’re alone and life is making you lonely, You can always go… downtown When you’ve got worries, all the noise and the hurry Seems to help, I know… downtown Just listen to the music of the traffic in the city Linger on the sidewalk where the neon signs are pretty How can you lose? [...]
