All I want for Christmas is straight hair. Looking through all these pictures only made me realize how much I’ve always wanted my hair to be straight. So I could do fun things with it. And make it look nice. Aww, straight hair. Come here. Please.

No, you must have curly hair pride! You must!
But it’s so hard sometimes! There is so much one can do with straight hair. And curly hair, well… it just kinda does what it wants.
I like your hair
Oh, Justin
At least you don’t have my hair. If you move it or touch it, all that happens is it turns into a giant jumble of knots. No matter what! Ugh.
merry christmas again
Our hair shares that tendency: mine (especially on the back of my head) gets all tangled and unmanageable with the slightest touch! But anyway, though I am still considering getting it cut/shaved, I think the tendency to let it grow and grow forever is affecting me more strongly at the moment.
Something about “more strongly” just doesn’t sound right.
you will soon, my friend, you will soon. and then… we’ll dye it black! all of the girls will swoon
I dunno about the black part. But I’ll brush up on my Dashboard Confessional in the meantime.
Listen, punk. I know this was posted awhile ago, but I’m just now reading it and I simply cannot stand by and let this kind of talk come out of your mouth…or rather, from your keyboard. I know curly hair can be quite trying at times, but curls are beautiful and unique and they are a part of who you are, like it or not. Straight hair can be fun for a day or two, but it can never be as cool as curly hair. Be proud of your curls! Or else!
Ugh. Deep down, I know you’re right, and it’s what I’m secretly thinking inside. But straight hair is so… manageable! And stylistically free—you can do anything with it! But I know, I know… we with curly hair, our noble minority of righteous souls… we are superior.
No matter how much I may long for straight hair, the better part of me knows such a transformation would never be more than temporary.
Hey,
This is preposterous, but I understand. I’ve wanted to perm my hair for a while. How do you like dem apples? You’d tell me the same thing. So on behalf of the right thing to do, I have to say, Be true to yourself. You were made just the way you were intended to be. Tangly curly hair and all.
P.S. Straight hair still gets tangles, you goose.
