Janet’s birthday was yesterday, so we went downtown together today so she could buy her first alcohol! First we went under the highway and checked out the riverside. It was quite nice; lots of grass and pretty water. It may be a nice place to hang out when the weather is nice. Then we went to Metro and got our stuff; she got Dewar’s (hehe) and I got a bottle of Disaronno.
At dinner we all had an intense discussion about immigration. Keith Schumann was there, which was cool, because I haven’t seen much of him lately. And a cute girl looked at me! I know I shouldn’t melt for a freshman, but, oh! :-X
Help Desk was slow, but we did get to watch the hundredth episode of Family Guy that’s due to be aired on Sunday night. Because Holly reads this, I’ll refrain from providing any spoilers!
Mad pointed out that people still use WesConfess. How odd! I had thought it died out. Regardless, someone posted my name on one of the crush lists; somewhat disconcertingly, though, they asked: “is that weird?” lol. Oh my. What to think?!
The cat situation continues to develop. I guess it’s looking less likely to happen now. And I saw Jeffrey for more than five minutes today! It was a pleasant change. I miss him not staying up late with me.
Speaking of staying up late… I can’t do it tonight. I need sleep so I don’t fall asleep at the wheel during my planned 12 hours of driving, attending the show, and driving again. The Weakerthans! In 20 hours! I’m ridiculously excited.
