Today was pretty standard. Nothing overly exciting. I did laundry, and my room smells like fabric softener now.
My housemates are talking about getting a cat in the house. I am opposed, but so long as I bear absolutely no responsibility for feeding it, caring for it, playing with it, paying for it, or smelling its shit—and as long as it stays out of my room—I’m not going to put up a fight.
My parents are bringing a space heater with them when they come down this weekend for Homecoming. Soon, it won’t be freezing in my room anymore. I’ll just have to hide it from P-Plant. Shady!
Bedtime.

Watch–your roommates will get a cat, which you will hate, and it will love you the most. Cats have a hilarious tendency of doing that. Who would take care of it over summer break?
I think Claire would be the primary caretaker, and hence would take it home over breaks. But I have taken a hands-off approach to the matter and haven’t asked about many details.
OMG
I REALLY WANT YOU TO GET A CAT
I wouldn’t help take care of it, either.
but. i’d play with it
That’s very considerate of you, dear!
