I worked from 8:00 AM until midnight. A solid sixteen hours. And now I’m wiped out. Though over the course of today, some really good things happened:
- I met Paul, my Apple Account Exec, and some new people in ITS. Which will come in handy. And Paul was really chill. So all is good on the Apple front.
- I was mainly stationed at 200 Church, and everyone was exceptionally friendly. Hats off to Maya and Liana (the RAs) and ResLife staff in general. Tremendously fun to work with.
- This year’s freshman class is unbelievably attractive. So many hot freshman girls! I met one who I’ve developed an immediate attraction to, named Erica. She’s this intriguing combination of Lauren Barth and Anna Raithel and so many other girls put together. And so friendly!
- I’m pretty sure I sold at least four people (one of them, a parent) on buying Macs. And I got plenty of my Apple business cards out there.
- Adam and I had a very good conversation while we were waiting for the hall meeting to finish up at 200 Church. It was one of those transformative experiences where you go from being casual friends to really knowing a person. I like those.
- The kids above us moved in. They seem pretty friendly, though I haven’t had much time to talk to them.
Before I pass out for the night, I want to say: I am unbelievably optimistic (by Justin standards, “unbelievably optimistic” is, like, more optimistic than humanly possible) about the coming year. I can just feel that this year at Wes is going to be a good one.

Laura: Crazy, isn’t it? Maybe it’ll be history repeating itself, just without all the nasty breakups.
We shall hang out!
