Back from Texas, spring break continues

Wow.

That’s all I can say right now about our trip to Texas. It was, simply, wow. Excellent food, excellent music, excellent beaches, and excellent friends. A killer sunburn. The (conditional) breakdown of stereotypes. A reawakening, of sorts, to the fact that the world outside of Wesleyan is vast—and still profoundly mysterious to me. Nearly 1,000 photos, and fresh memories of what was definitely the best show of my life: Mew, Eisley, and The Polyphonic Spree. Jeffrey’s birthday, living together, spending days on the beach… just, wow… insanely fun.

I have one more week of spring break, to be spent (mainly) back home in the Bay State. I leave this morning, and am driving Janet up, as well. It’s time to pack and burn a good, new mixtape.

Wow.

Hehe. I’m working on cleaning them all up and naming them and such. There’s 988, mind you, so it’s no easy task. I’m on dialup and uploading will be quite painful, but I will try to get some up soon over at Photobooth.
