When you’ve got a collection of not-exactly-related topics, what better way to organize them than to put them all in a giant bulleted list?
- Taxes, my vanquished enemy! I have completed you, and am demanding a refund! I got my taxes filed and in the mail today. Hopefully, with the rather substantial sum I’ll be getting in the form of a refund (well, refunds—one from the federal government and one from the lovely Commonwealth of Massachusetts) I’ll be able to purchase some desperately-needed new clothing. Oh, and Connecticut withheld 20¢ from me last year. I didn’t bother to file for a refund.
- I called my parents on Sunday night. It seems like everything always stays the same back in Abington. My brother is looking for a job again, and I guess he applied at Express. He wants to be a waiter at the moment, though.
- Sunday night at WesWings, the special was prime rib with sweet potato and ratatouille. It was quite delicious, but probably not worth the 18 points it cost. They also had their spectacular caramel apple cheesecake, which is always ridiculously good.
- Mad, Janet, Claire, Jeffrey, and I went to Haveli India on Saturday night: delicious, as always. Mad and I made a mess on our side of the table. It wasn’t too flattering. Jeffrey tried to hog all the sauces for that crispy, thin pita-like thing they serve as an appetizer. Haveli apparently gives Wesleyan students a 10% discount, which was very cool of them.
- I finally decided to make a profile on Last.fm, the “social music revolution” website. It’s an interesting concept, but keeping the client running in the background whenever I’m listening to music is an inconvenience. I want a simple plug-in!
NOTE: This entry is by no means finished. I’ll be updating it as time allows. Right now, it’s 4:36 AM, so I think it’s time for some sleep. G’night.
