Dear contributors, your friendly editor has been tossing and turning for days on end, with no relief in sight. Why? Well, many posts on Another Sunny Day have been missing certain key elements. Please, help me to rest easily: incorporate these two simple steps into your posting habits:
- Entries are increasingly being posted without categories. This bothers me, because I am all anal-retentive about things like entry categorization (OK, that’s an overstatement, but I do like things to be neat and filed correctly). I’d really appreciate it if everyone could attach the appropriate category label to each and every entry you post. If your post is about something that doesn’t fit into any of the current categories, just let me know; I’ll be happy to add a new one to the list.
- Titles, titles, titles. I’d like your titles to be fun. I’d like them to conform to the standards I had previously set up (no end punctuation unless absolutely necessary, proper use of capitalization, etc.). And I’d like them to be just descriptive enough to draw the reader in, but not so long that they don’t fit on one line in that little grey title box. 6-12 words is probably a good length. Although, of course, circumstances vary, and sometimes special posts call for special treatment. I realize that. But please try your best to make your titles fun, descriptive, and correctly formatted.
Thanks for helping out your friendly editor. I love you guys.

Justin, you’re so cute. But okay – I’ll work on it
Sorry I posted that entry without categories this morning – I was in a rush to finish it because I had to get to my class and forgot. I actually realized I had forgotten later, though, and felt guilty about it. Oops!
lol. There is no need to apologize. I’m just outlining some general standards that I’d like everyone to follow when posting.
Yes, master.
I shall acquiesce your every request.
May you reach nirvana.
And such.
Indeed.
Quite.
Indubitably and forthwith
