Cautious optimism

Let me start with:  YAY!!  While I know I shouldn’t get myself overhyped up, I am quite optimistic about the semester.  I already feel like it’s going swimmingly (hehe, what a word) and have every reason to believe it will keep up.

My classes are awesome.  As I was telling some of you earlier today, I was sitting in Intro Soc today, and started to tune out – and then suddenly realized that this wasn’t a science class, and everything the professor was saying was fascinating, and I didn’t want to be tuning out!  I also decided to take Abstract Algebra, which I know will be difficult and quite a challenge for me, but I’m really willing to work at it, this time – and if any professor is going to challenge me to be my best, I know it’s Chan.  And Discrete Math looks adorably easy in comparison, but should be fun.  I’m going to join WesPrep, and continue with Amnesty.  yayy good for the world!  And I’m way committed to being a better and more accessible RA :)

The evolving social circle thing is crazy.  It’s weird how much I’ve seen certain people lately – for example, Thom.  Or a certain one of the JB.  But I also know I”m going to have to make an effort to not hole myself up in my room all the time.  On that note, I’m going to pop over to Hewitt… nowish :D !  Aw, you guys.  If you’re reading this, there’s a very high chance that I love you very much as a friend!
