Missives from Montreal: Day 2

So far, today has been marginally warmer, much more active, and full of personal development.

I woke up at 10:30 and showered, then was out of the hotel at 11:30. From that time until 5:00, the only time I wasn’t on my feet was for lunch. I walked around pretty much the entire city; Montreal’s a really nice place.

I walked into a few bookstores, some eclectic clothing stores, and a place in Chinatown.

A homeless man said something profound to me today: “Don’t be sorry, you have today.”

Tonight we’re going out for Iraqi cuisine. I don’t even know what Iraqis eat. But I’m hoping that it’s good. After that, we’re going out to a jazz club. Woo!

CNN is talking about China and its anti-satellite missiles. That’s crazy. I had no idea that there were missiles that could knock out satellites.

That’s pretty cool.

More to come.
