So I sent my computer away to Apple Land for a new optical drive. I got one, it seems to work much better, I am happy. However, when I got my computer back, I found on the desktop two screencaps (or “VLC snaps”) from the opening credits of Pirates. Whaaaa? I find this hilarious.
This past weekend Claire came up and she, my cousin Ken, and I hit up Arisia, and sci-fi/fantasy convention in Boston (this year, technically Cambridge). Highlights included paying a total of $5 for parking over three days, lots of interesting panels, and an amazing movie named Krrish. It’s a Crouching Tiger-esque action movie. It’s a romantic comedy (and also hilarious other ways). It’s a sci-fi thriller. It’s a musical. It’s a superhero movie. It’s a foreign film. It is all things to all people. It is the greatest movie ever. If I acquire it, you will all be forced to watch it.
Right now I’m watching Battlestar Galactica (fantastic so far, I’m almost done with Season 1) and planning the time between now and Sunday, when I will return to Wesleyan. When are you guys getting back?
